Abstract Preparation and Submission Instructions for Particles 2010 Medical/Biochemical Diagnostic, Pharmaceutical, and Drug Delivery Applications of Particle Technology 22-25 May 2010 Regal Sun Resort Lake Buena Vista, Florida Submission Deadline - Those wishing to
submit a contributed oral paper, a poster paper, and the invited speakers should complete an abstract form according to the
the instructions given below. This form should be prepared as a Word
document (IMPORTANT: please name the files by the last name and the first initial
of the presenting author, plus a number corresponding to the abstract number
if you submit more than 1 abstract; e.g., DebyeP1.doc, DebyeP2.doc), and
then e-mail it as an attachment to abstracts@nanoparticles.org
by If e-mail is not available, the one page abstract form should be sent by fax to 1-585-482-7795 (no cover sheet required), or mailed to Particles 2010, 265 Clover Street, Rochester, New York 14610-2246, USA. The abstract should not be greater than 500 words in length, should not contain references, should not contain figures, and should not deviate from the format specifications given below. The abstract should clearly state what the paper is about. The abstract submission form should follow the following format (see link to Word template below): Use 12 point Ariel as primary font and single space throughout.
Begin on the first line at the left with the TITLE IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS. On the next available line list authors (first name, initial, last name) and affiliations/addresses minimizing the total space used. On the next available line type the abstract text. Do not include figures in the abstract. Do not include references unless a key focal point of the paper. the abstract should summarize the conclusions of the paper or poster, and not be a vehicle to list publications in the field. Skip a line. On successive lines type the following corresponding author contact
information: Skip a line. If the presenting author is other than the corresponding author, type "Presenting author is: " and follow with the name of the presenting author and the presenting author's contact information (e-mail, tel., fax). Skip a line. If your abstract is for a Poster, an Oral paper, or an Invited paper, respectively, type "Poster", "contributed Oral Paper", or "Invited Paper". If you are contributing an Oral paper and unwilling to present as a Poster, type "contributed Oral Only". Generally, contributed oral and poster papers will be accepted on an on-going basis until the sumposium or symposia appropriate for the paper is full. Then - Send this document by e-mail as an attached file, as described above, or fax or mail if e-mail transmittal is not feasible. Note, abstracts
